Had a great time. Everything perfectly executed. From the sled dogs to bears. My week had perfect weather, so we were very lucky.

I knew that Magic of Alaska was going to be amazing, but it ended up exceeding all expectations in so many ways. The communications before the trip started were extremely organized and timely. Payments were made very easily, too, and the We Travel portal was easy to understand. I stayed in a welcoming and beautiful two bedroom cabin with a dedicated bathroom (such a pleasant surprise!). I especially enjoyed having the option to make our own coffee in the morning before heading out and use of a full refrigerator to keep our drinks cold. From day one, it was a non-stop adventure and we squeezed in every ounce of fun possible into each excursion. It was an absolute pleasure at the end of each day to sit down with the group to a home-cooked meal planned and prepared by Barb. The food was outstanding every single day, and with lots of variety, too! You will not go hungry on this trip! Lisa and Dan were always available for questions and guidance and made each day extremely enjoyable. They make an outstanding duo and were always kind, fun to be around and incredibly knowledgeable. Lisa, everything was just so wonderful. Your organizational skills of providing great photography experiences, accommodations, great meals and flexibility to adjust to ever changing weather was super! I had an amazing time. The camera instructions and guidance from you and Dan were so helpful... now if I would just remember what I have learned! There was real camaraderie with in our group and I think everyone felt it. The workshop is well named.... Magical! I hope to see you again.

This was unlike any photo trip I have been on. Every day made use of the long hours of daylight and was full to the brim with adventures. From plane and helicopter rides to dog sledding on a glacier, to closeup views next to volcano summits, to two boat rides and much more, Lisa took exceptional care of us, ably assisted by Dan. We never went to a restaurant but either had home-made take-out breakfasts and picnic lunches or ate ambrosial homemade meals at the lodge courtesy of chef Barb. If you love nature photography, and comfort, I cannot recommend this trip highly enough..

I am sitting in the airport waitin gon my plane go fly home. It is a great time to remember snd reflect on the special time here in Alaska. Lisa, Dan and Barb went above and beyond to help us experience this wondrous and yes, magical, place . They paid attention to the smallest details to be sure we had the best time possible. They adapted and rolled with whatever was happening. We ate fabulous food, captured images of amazing critters and scenery. We laughed and became friends with others sharing the experiences. Thank you for a purely magical experience.
